Creepy Carrots
You may notice Creepy Carrots are popping up everywhere at GES. That's because one of our FAVORITE books, Creepy Carrots, was written by Aaron Reynolds and illustrated by Peter Brown. This book is AMAZING, and it
even won the Caldecott Honor for 2013. (It's kind of like winning the Heisman trophy if you're a football lover.) He will be visiting GES ALL DAY on Friday, February 9th!! We can't wait!!
Aaron Reynolds Books
Do you already own an Aaron Reynolds' book? Although our window for ordering books is closed, if your child owns an Aaron Reynolds book, please feel free to bring it to school on Friday. I'm sure Aaron will be happy to sign it! Just make sure your child's name (first and last) is on it so I can make sure you get it back safely!
Book Fair Thank You
We are able to pay for Aaron's visit because of our Book Fairs. Thank you so much for your continued support of our school. When it's book fair time, we know you could probably purchase books from other vendors at cheaper prices, but we are grateful you choose us!
